Beer Distributorship Designs Distribution Center

(September 24th, 2007) This established beer & beverage distribution customer consulted with ROBO Dock & Door (RDD) when they decided to design and build a new distribution center. Their goals were to design a Loading Dock system that offered the latest in safety and productivity while staying within their budget.

RDD representatives met with this customer, reviewed their specific needs and offered several package options to fit the budget. After doing several offsite visits to other facilities currently using specific styles of equipment, this customer decided to invest in a comprehensive package including Air Powered Docklevelers with Safety Barrier Lips, Safety Truck Restraints, Master Control Panels and TKO Knock-Out Doors.

This customer also had special lift gate truck needs requiring the Truck Restraint to be recessed slightly below the grade of the truck well. This allowed the restraint housing to rotate down below the lift gate.
